BlackLivesMatter is an online forum intended to build connections between Black people and our allies to fight anti-Black racism, to spark dialogue. In the spirit of the birth of the Civil Rights movement, the Black lives Memphis Chapter principal objective is to progress and ensure the protection of all Black Lives regardless of gender, disability, levels of education, socio-economics status, political beliefs, and sexual orientations, our chapter promotes black unity, to achieve equality amongst our citizens. The Memphis Chapter seeks to eliminate systematic oppression through awareness, education, and a demand for betterment and change for all Black Lives.
