Based in Columbus, Ohio, we're a state-centric 501c4 organization dedicated to supporting an inclusive, progressive civic dialogue Democratic Voices (of Ohio) is a 501c4 social and political welfare organization, created to help bring Ohioans into the political process around a constructive, progressive, inclusive social media dialogue. We're working to develop our platform into a place where your voice and your values can be shared, amplified, and related to by the community at large. Civil Guidelines for Page Participants: Democratic Voices promotes grassroots civic dialogue that delves deeper into the social issues we as Ohioans face, often in different ways, but through common causes. In order to further encourage a tone of civility within this dialogue, we ask that all participants respect one another despite any real or perceived ideological differences, so we can maintain a discussion that can remain open to all. We reserve the right to delete any comments that contain abusive or derogatory language, condone discrimination, exhibit prejudices against fellow conversation participants, aim to silence the voices of other civil participants, unjustifiably inflame social tensions, or demean others. We thank you for your participation on our page, and appreciate you understanding the guidelines we've set forth in these paragraphs. If you have been threatened on our page, notice someone else has been threatened, or observe any other comment that you believe violates our page's civil guidelines, please message us directly to make us aware of the problem. We will always try to response promptly.
