AEA Retired works to protect the futures of our members, retired public school employees who are AEA members. New members are welcome. We monitor the Arizona State Retirement System, by attending each meeting, and serving on its various committees. We also work hard to fulfill the commitments of AEA. This means that we actively work to accomplish the AEA Legislative Agenda, mentor new teachers and assist AEA in fulfilling its goals. We communicate with our members and with our friends in order to be an effective advocate for education retirees, students and teachers within the public school system. What Else Do We Do? AEA Retired helps to connect AEA Retired members socially, and to aid in their volunteer efforts by connecting them to approved local service projects. Each local has many opportunities to network socially. We meet at least quarterly, and more often for separate committees and groups. There is a place for every AEA Retired member in our chapters, or Executive Board organization. We look forward to hearing from you.
