Clean water is a basic human right. Together we demand a public water supply free of chemicals, toxins and contaminants. Join us in our fight. Chris Hale, chair and founder of Friends of Water, said a major problem is that state agencies won't enforce laws that are tougher than federal law, and state regulatory agencies won't enforce community ordinances, like a recent ordinance passed in Fayette County, that are stronger than state law.
