Grassroots Action meeting - September 6th, Wednesday, 3 p.m. at the Leopold Retirement Residence, 1224 Cornwall. Guest Joy Gilfiren will discuss 'Local Justice Reform Now', about the proposed jail and behind-the-scenes activity taking place.. Grassroot ACTION Whatcom is a non-partisan group that advocates for people’s rights, physical well-being and economic fairness. We engage in direct action that supports a healthy planet, a just society, and an equitable economy. We will add our muscle to groups and efforts that embrace similar values. We engage in peaceful, non-violent and constructive work that promotes individual agency and collective impact.
