Indivisible – Central Pennsylvania is a grassroots organization that formed to oppose any actions by the Trump Administration that negatively impact the values of inclusion, diversity, tolerance, personal freedoms, and a healthy environment. Indivisible – Central Pennsylvania is not affiliated with any political party. We welcome all people who feel that these are American values and want to protect those values. Indivisible – Central Pennsylvania advocates for progressive policies through local action. Our goal is to make our voices heard by our local and state representatives through peaceful means of resistance. Measures include phone and letter writing blitzes, town hall meetings, and rallies. We believe the best way to affect positive change is to work within our system of government. Because we can’t control the agenda over (at least) the next 2 years, we will have to be a reactive, rather than a proactive group. This doesn’t mean that are efforts will be in vain! We anticipate that our members will have diverse concerns and priorities, therefore, we realize that not all members will participate in all issues. That’s fine! Feel free to choose which issues to get involved with – the important thing is to get involved! No one can afford to sit this out!
