Please keep posts to the group relevant to our group’s mission: Indivisible Little Rock & Central Arkansas is a grassroots activist organization that promotes a progressive and inclusive agenda. We are dedicated to the principles of justice, equality, compassion, and honesty. Our actions are focused on ensuring these principles are upheld in all levels of government. Moderators may delete posts that are: inaccurate, out of date, misleading, or violate the guidelines. Violation of the guidelines will result in a warning or immediate banning, depending on severity. Please report violations by tagging the moderators. General Rule: BE KIND! We will not tolerate bullying or harassment. This behavior includes, but not limited to: Personal insults or attacks against another group member or public figure. Discriminatory language. Violent threats or incitements to violence of any kind. Unwelcome sexual attention. Posting sexually explicit or violent material. Posting, or threatening to post, other people’s personally identifying information. This includes the information of elected officials. Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviors. No sales, business, or product promotions. Please limit your individual posts to one per day. This limit does not apply to commenting. Post information that a group motivated to build a more progressive government would find a) useful, b) informative, and/or c) inspirational. Please focus elections topics on candidates and ballot issues on which central Arkansans will be voting. Post more sparingly about non-local races, such as non-local members of Congress, unless they are related to an official action or have potential bearing on or meaning for us here in Arkansas. To understand why, please see the Indivisible Guide. This is a forum for sharing information about progressive candidates. That said, we want to encourage new and fresh information that members haven’t seen numerous times. So please limit individual candidate promotions to one post per week. If you share a post from a closed group or someone’s personal account, it may not be visible to everyone. Copy and paste from the original source. Avoid posting old information, petitions, memes, boycotts, and duplicate information. Check to see if anyone has already posted on exactly what you want to post by using the “search this group” tool. If you share a post from elsewhere, add a comment on why it is important to this group, such as an action to take, the educational message of the post, or critical information. Please Fact Check before posting! Check dates on articles to make sure they’re still relevant. Please post from original news sources and that cite their sources.
