As part of Indivisible MI District 07 Eaton County Group, a Knock Every Door/Swing Left Group has been formed to conduct door-to-door and event canvassing in the areas of Bellevue, Delta Township, Charlotte, Dimondale, Eaton Rapids, Grand Ledge, Mulliken, Olivet, Potterville, Sunfield, and Vermontville. We are looking for volunteers for various activities including canvassing, recruitment of new volunteers, raising awareness on social media, telephone trees, and data entry. Our goal is to be productive and have fun at the same time. It's a chance to meet like-minded people and change Michigan's District 7 from a swing district into a blue district before the election in 2018. A gathering of Eaton County, MI folk who believe that Donald Trump’s agenda will take America backwards and it must be stopped. We believe in working together to achieve this goal and in modeling the values of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness. We work in concert with other Indivisible groups in Michigan in order to increase our resources, our knowledge, and our effect on making a positive change in the direction of our country. Candidates’ campaign events and forums that will help voters learn more about the candidates in Eaton County Districts may be posted in advance. We also welcome candidates to make their own posts to help our members better understand their views. Posts regarding candidates’ fundraising events will be limited to candidates who have participated in Eaton Indivisible meetings/events unless they have officially been endorsed by Eaton Indivisible.
