We are a group of neighbors in Midtown Detroit, part of Michigan's 13th Congressional District and part of that inner city Trump keeps talking about. We're working together to push back against the Trump agenda. Our Congressional leaders are: * Representative John Conyers Jr. (D) * Senator Debbie Stabenow (D) * Senator Gary C. Peters (D) We are formed in agreement with principals in the Indivisible Guide on how to: 1. Resist Trump's agenda, which we believe to be racist, authoritarian, and corrupt. 2. Focus on local, defensive congressional advocacy by demanding that our own Members of Congress speak for us in Washington D.C. 3. Embrace progressive values that model inclusion, respect and fairness in all of our actions. We do not condone or support any illegal action.
