The purpose of the group, Because We Care, Norwich Indivisible, is for like-minded people, who are concerned about the current political, economic, and social climate trending in the United States, to gather in mutual support and devise strategies and actions to address these concerns. Using the democratic rights and privileges guaranteed through the United States Constitution, the group works to encourage and facilitate positive, peaceful, progressive values. We believe that protecting our values, our neighbors, and ourselves requires resistance, where needed, against those who propose contrary values. This is a resistance built upon the principles of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness.
