JYD is Jacksonville's most politically engaged organization for young professionals & students. Jacksonville Young Democrats (JYD) is the Duval County branch of Florida Young Democrats. We are open to all registered members of the Democratic Party under the age of 40. We aim to be very active and influential within our local party. Our members work on political campaigns as volunteers, activists, and organizers. We also network with other Democrats and issue advocates to make innovative plans that address changes for our community in Jacksonville.
