March to Action brings together women, men, families, and individuals hoping to make a difference in how our country moves forward. This group is not sponsored, hosted, or organized by any political party but is made up of like-minded people coming together for a common cause—regardless of party, religion, ethnicity, race, gender. Guiding principles of the group include challenging current political agenda, which it believes threatens to take the United States backwards; modeling values of inclusion, respect, and fairness; thinking nationally but acting locally; becoming knowledgeable and speaking out; and working toward the 2018 election. Members are encouraged to share information about things that are happening or ideas to stop them, support one another in their work to stand up for others and themselves, share the truth, speak to power, and work to resist oppression and push out fear. Respectful, supportive, honest, and informative conversation is the expectation and goal of all who join. Conversation that is not respectful will be deleted. Anyone supporting or advocating violence in this space will be blocked. The FB group is private. Only those invited to join by others may join. The hope is that the group will be more protected from trolls as a result. This FB group has no affiliation with the workplace or other groups to which the admin belongs.
