We used to be known as Indivisible NW DC since we got started in early 2017 in that section of The District. In early 2018, we opted to update our name to Indivisible Washington, DC because we have been increasingly partnering well beyond DC's Northwest quadrant. Since those of us who live and vote in the District of Columbia do not yet have the same level of representation in Congress that most other Americans experience, we have focused on collaborating with other partners. For example, Herd on the Hill is an organization that helps people connect with their Members of Congress through regular visits to congressional offices on Capitol Hill.
