We are an Indivisible group and believe activism with friends is a powerful agent for change. We are also aligned with SwingLeft.org. We aim to: REACH: engender greater political activism in our local community through reaching out to others and encouraging action TEACH: earnestly advocate for progressive, Democratic causes and candidates IMPEACH: charge the current President and his allies with gross incompetence and malfeasance and fight for their removal We support our group members in: 1.) registering with indivisible.org and taking part in daily and/or weekly action 2.) registering with swingleft.org and learning about how to affect change in swing districts 3.) joining our community of activists for monthly action 4.) sharing our experiences with each other over Facebook, gmail and in-person meetings to increase the power of our individual and collective actions MEMBERSHIP: This is a CLOSED group. That means that people can see the cover photo, description and membership, but not individual posts, events and photos. Membership is invitation-only. Please only add people you know personally and who have expressed interest in being more politically active for Democratic and progressive causes and candidates. Our purpose is to create a positive and welcoming community of activists and to support each other in organized resistance against Republicans' destructive policies.
