Solidarity Sundays - Philadelphia

On the second Sunday of each month, badass like-minded humans gather in a private home in Philadelphia to take ACTION on the immediate issues that matter. We aim to get folks actively engaged in politics and activism, no matter what their activism background/experience is. We make phone calls and write letters to elected representatives; we bring in guest speakers; we organize, educate, and empower on nationwide and hyper-local issues. At each event attendees are provided with lists of names, phone numbers, addresses, emails, and sample scripts to make the process of contacting elected officials easy and un-intimidating. Guests bring snacks and drinks. Kids welcome (childcare available with advanced notice).
