We are an intersectional grassroots feminist movement based in Athens, Georgia, focused on building a more inclusive, compassionate, equitable community. Who we are: Together We Will - Athens is an intersectional grassroots feminist movement, rewriting our story in solidarity with our fellow community members to stand up for and demand equality. What we strive to do: Together We Will - Athens will harness our collective power to build a more inclusive, compassionate, and equitable community by fostering grassroots activism, working to educate our members and the greater community, and developing community leaders who represent our values from our most marginalized citizens to ensure accurate representation of our diverse community. Our goals: Together We Will - Athens seeks to educate ourselves and our community; to fully integrate ourselves into our community through partnerships with other local organizations in order to amplify the voices of the marginalized and collectively support these organizations and their members; and to organize our own membership to make real, lasting social and political change.
