Contra Costa County (CA) NOW was founded in 1971 by four local women who had decided, â"Enough is Enough.â" Our primary issues include reproductive rights, marriage equality, ending violence against women and promoting equal opportunity for girls and women. We meet in the Walnut Creek public library every month except July when we hold a garden party, and December for our annual holiday party. We are very proud of our 43-year activist history in our community. Come and join us and be involved! Contra Costa County Chapter of the National Organization for Women (Contra Costa NOW).
