Homefront Progressives is a grassroots organization. We connect like-minded United States veterans, military family members, and their allies. We provide opportunities to engage in the progressive movement via community mobilization, voter education, and recruitment of campaign candidates, campaign surrogates, and volunteers.

Homefront Progressives is home to a community of strategists, writers, policy analysts, and passionate advocates. We harness their talents to help the growing progressive movement in the military community. We are the tip-of-the-spear when it comes to fighting to preserve and protect veteran and military benefits, advancing marriage equality, and protecting the rights of our special-needs military children, just to name a few.
Our blog and social channels serve as a distribution network to rally the troops, educate voters, and engage in online conversation with the broader military community.
Voter Education
At Homefront Progressives, we know that an educated citizen is the best weapon in any political fight. Our Voter Education program provides guides on best practices to contact elected officials, on writing Letters-to-the-Editor and Op-Eds, on organizing office visits to US Representatives and Senators, and on planning local events to attract fellow progressives to our cause.
Candidate Recruitment & Resource Referral
Our community is comprised of patriotic citizens passionate about advocating on behalf of the greater veteran and military community. As an organization, we feel it is our duty to identify promising civic leaders and connect them with the resources they need to succeed when pursuing political office at local, state, and federal levels.
Campaign Surrogate & Volunteer Recruitment
Homefront Progressives is a unique community bringing together both veteran and military family voices. Our members can lend their skills and talents as surrogates and volunteers to assist other liberal candidates as they campaign for political office.
