Monsoon Asians & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity (formerly, Monsoon United Asian Women of Iowa) is API-led & community rooted organization providing services to survivors/victims of gender-based violence. Monsoon United Asian Women of Iowa is a community-based organization with a mission to end gender-based violence in the Asian & Pacific Islander communities in Iowa. We provide direct services to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and human trafficking from the API communities. We also have a violence prevention program focusing on API youth.
