PFLAG Triangle is committed to advancing equality and full societal affirmation of LGBTQ people through its threefold mission of support, education, and advocacy.

Meetings are held twice a month, once in Durham and once in Raleigh as follows:

Our meetings welcome all: LGBTQ invididuals, their families, friends and allies and any person interested in supporting or learning more about our mission. Most of our meetings are confidential support meetings. Attendees will have an opportunity to come in and share as little or as much as they would like.

About once a quarter, we have a combined potluck and educational meeting. Educational meetings often feature a speaker and focus on issues facing the LGBTQ community.

PFLAG Triangle also advocates for the LGBTQ community by participating in a wide variety of events, including NC Pride, OutRaleigh, and Shades of Pride. We were also actively involved in social issues such as the Amendment One fight and continue to be actively involved in events such as HK on J. We raise money through voluntary dues and donations, including for our annual Indy Ad, which goes towards our organizational expenses and small grants benefitting the local LGBTQ community, especially youth.
